Percussionist Ron van Holland began drumming at a very young age. Gaining a great deal of experience playing in various different music groups, while following percussion lessons from several renowned teachers at various music institutes in The Netherlands.

After participating at Flamenco events at the Centro Flamenco Puro in Utrecht, Flamenco rhythm became his passion and decided to dedicate himself to Flamenco percussion.

One of his many important visits to Spain was in 2006, when Ron went for 6 months to study with the internationally renowned percussionists Cepillo, Miquel 'El Cheyenne' and Julián Heredia. This experience giving Ron a deeper insight, understanding and feel into Flamenco percussion making him a much sought after Flamenco percussionist for the renowned Flamenco artists; La Primavera, Arte y Compás and Adrian Elissen Trio, he also has recorded with the much reclaimed guitarist Tino van der Sman.
